Siliguri is located on the foothills of Himalayas in the plains of Darjeeling District by the side of Mahananda River. Siliguri is also known as Gateway of Northeast & is the 2nd largest city in the West Bengal.
It is famous for three T’s which are tea, timber & tourism. Major attractions of Siliguri are Mahananda wildlife sanctuary & Kali mandir. It is also an important center of Trade & travel in the region.
